Want to make your session the best it can possibly be? Of course you do! So here's a list that may potentially help you to prepare for your session!
-For babies always bring comfort items such as binkies, bottles, stuffed animals, blankets, etc. These items will help to assure that halfway through the session we don't have a meltdown we can't recover from. Bring items that you think represent your new bundle & your family well. Such as, a sports jersey repping your favorite team.
(same applies to toddlers)
-For family photos I always give a few tips. a) wear matching colors. b) make sure these colors are easy on the eyes, this will help to make sure that the focus in a photo is where it should be, ON YOU, not your cltohing c) go for solid basics, and for outdoor shots use neutral colors to help set the tone. Here's a few more quick tips:
-Refrain from large stripes/patterns as they make the body look larger
-Refrain from wearing sunglasses (and glasses if you'd rather avoid glare)
-Paint your pretty fingernails if we're doing an engagement session
-Generally,, if weather permits I prefer to shoot photos with bare feet. This gives a more natural and relaxed feel to the photo, and let's face it, the bottom of our shoes aren't photogenic.
-And lastly, when in doubt, ASK! Feel free to ask me my opinion, I have tons of clients that do, and I'm always more than happy to give you an opinion or some clothing options that might work best for you or your family, in order to make your photos the absolute best ever!
